Between the two great valleys of the Garonne and Dordogne Rivers, 500 km of signposted footpaths and quiet roads lead the walker all over the Haut Entre-Deux-Mers. The region is hilly, but is still quite accessible to all. Monuments and vineyards, mills and fortified towns, the network of footpaths is the best way to discover this region of history and wines.
Circuit du Haut Entre-Deux-Mers - 110 km (69 miles)
For long-distance walkers, several days' rambling around the ancient town of La Réole and the three medieval bastide towns of Monségur, Pellegrue and Sauveterre de Guyenne.
